APRILIA CEO: BEATING MARQUEZ IS THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE IN THE TITLE FIGHT

Aprilia CEO Massimo Rivola says challenging Marc Marquez and Ducati for the 2026 MotoGP title is about as demanding a task as the team could face. The championship fight between the two Italian factories heads to the Indonesian Grand Prix at Mandalika with Aprilia rider Jorge Martin just two points ahead of Marquez.

Ducati has dominated MotoGP for the past four seasons, while Aprilia has emerged as a credible challenger in 2026 after making a major step forward with its RS-GP. Rivola called beating Marquez “the most difficult task we could have.”
