Overview
64 Degrees is a MotoGP news and Instagram aggregator. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the public site at 64degrees.com (and related deployments), how we use it, and the choices you have.
We do not offer public user accounts. The admin area is restricted to authorised operators only.
Information we collect
When you browse the public site, we collect limited information:
- Anonymous page-view and performance metrics via Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights (no cookies; no personally identifiable information).
- Functional data stored in your browser's local storage: theme preference, language preference, the timestamp of your last feed visit (used for the "New" badge on news cards), and your cookie preference choices.
- Standard server and CDN logs from our hosting provider (Vercel), which may include IP address, browser type, and requested URL.
- If you opt in to Advertising in cookie preferences, Google AdSense may collect data via cookies and similar technologies to deliver and measure ads. See the Advertising section below.
Information we do not collect on the public site
We do not ask visitors to create accounts, submit contact forms, or provide email addresses on the public site.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We use Google AdSense to show ads on the public site. Ads load only after you opt in to the Advertising category in cookie preferences.
Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve ads, limit how often you see an ad, and measure ad performance. Depending on your settings and region, ads may be personalised or non-personalised.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can manage or withdraw consent at any time via Cookie preferences in the site footer.

How we use information
We use the information above to operate and improve the site, understand aggregate traffic patterns, remember your display preferences, show which news items are new since your last visit, and—when you consent—display advertising.
Third-party content and links
News summaries link to original publisher articles. Instagram cards link to posts on Instagram. Hero images may be loaded from original publisher URLs. When you follow those links, the third party's privacy policy applies.
News ingestion and summarisation use backend services (RSS feeds, Anthropic, OpenAI, Tavily, Apify). Those processes do not receive data you submit through the public site.
Admin area
Authorised administrators sign in at /admin using Supabase Auth. Authentication cookies are set only for that area and are not used for public visitors.
Local storage and cookies
The public site uses local storage for essential preferences (theme, language, last visit) and to record your cookie notice choice. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies.
Advertising cookies are set only if you enable the Advertising category. You can clear local storage in your browser settings. Use Cookie preferences in the site footer to review categories or change your choices.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Because the public site collects minimal data and no accounts, most requests will relate to server logs held by our hosting provider or data processed by Google when you opt in to ads.
For privacy questions, contact the site operator at the email address listed on the site footer once published, or via your usual project contact channel.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
You can review or change cookie preferences at any time from the or the site footer.
