CECCHINELLO SAYS NEW MOTOGP QUALIFYING MAY BE LESS CHAOTIC THAN FEARED

LCR team boss and IRTA president Lucio Cecchinello believes MotoGP’s revised 2027 qualifying format may be less frantic and dangerous than critics expect. Speaking on Thursday, he pointed to limited tyre supplies as a factor that could discourage riders from excessive track activity. Cecchinello also suggested the format could create more strategic interest, offering a different perspective on the debate.
