INDONESIAN GP 2026: FULL MANDALIKA WEEKEND SCHEDULE

6 Oct 2026·

The Indonesian Grand Prix returns to the Mandalika International Street Circuit on Lombok from October 9–11, 2026, with Moto3, Moto2 and MotoGP on the programme. For fans in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the six-hour time difference means early starts. Sunday’s races are scheduled an hour later than usual: MotoGP begins at 9:00 a.m. CEST, the same time as Saturday’s sprint.

Mandalika, a 4.3-kilometre circuit completed in 2021, joined the MotoGP calendar in 2022. That event marked the world championship’s return to Indonesia after a 25-year absence; its previous visits were to Sentul in 1996 and 1997. Miguel Oliveira won the rain-hit inaugural race. Pecco Bagnaia took victory in 2023, Jorge Martin in 2024, and rookie Fermin Aldeguer claimed his first MotoGP win there in 2025. Marc Marquez has yet to win in Indonesia; last year, Marco Bezzecchi took him out of the Grand Prix.

The 2026 weekend arrives with a close title fight: Martin, now riding for Aprilia, leads Marquez by just two points. Ducati and Aprilia are also level in the constructors’ standings, adding to the stakes as the season reaches its final stretch.

Friday’s sessions start at 3:00 a.m. CEST with Moto3 practice, followed by Moto2 and MotoGP. The afternoon practice sessions begin at 7:15 a.m., with MotoGP on track from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.

Saturday’s action starts at 2:40 a.m. with Moto3, followed by Moto2 and MotoGP practice. MotoGP qualifying runs from 4:50 a.m., and the sprint is set for 9:00 a.m. over 13 laps. Sunday begins with MotoGP warm-up at 4:40 a.m. The 20-lap Moto3 race starts at 6:00 a.m., the 22-lap Moto2 race at 7:15 a.m., and the 27-lap MotoGP Grand Prix at 9:00 a.m. CEST.
