Jorge Martín’s difficult MotoGP journey began in his rookie season with Pramac Ducati in 2021. After just two premier-class races, he crashed at the Portuguese Grand Prix, missing that event and the next three rounds in Jerez, Le Mans and Mugello. He returned in Barcelona on 6 June, after roughly six weeks away, and then completed every remaining race that season.
