MORBIDELLI JOINS DUCATI’S FACTORY WORLDSBK TEAM AFTER MOTOGP EXIT

Franco Morbidelli has thanked Ducati for keeping faith in him by offering him a place on its factory World Superbike team. The Italian is leaving MotoGP after struggling with VR46’s Ducati squad, a downturn that followed his three victories in 2020 and left him without a MotoGP contract for 2027. Ducati’s decision keeps him within the manufacturer’s ranks. “Clearly Ducati has some trust in me,” Morbidelli said.
