PERRY AND HODGSON SHORTLISTED FOR BROADCAST SPORT AWARDS
19 Oct 2026·
TNT Sports’ MotoGP coverage has earned three nominations at the Broadcast Sport Awards, with presenter Suzi Perry and pundit Neil Hodgson recognised individually and the broadcaster’s “ghost cam” shortlisted for its use of data.
Perry is among eight nominees for Sports Presenter of the Year. Her fellow contenders include Gabby Logan, Gary Lineker, Laura Woods and Hazel Irvine. Hodgson, a former WorldSBK champion and MotoGP rider, is nominated for Pundit of the Year alongside football names including Alan Shearer, Ally McCoist and Wayne Rooney.
Hodgson welcomed the recognition in a post on X, saying: “It means the world to me just being nominated for an award like this. Motorcycle racing deserves more recognition in the UK so to be acknowledged in this way is a huge honour.”
The third nomination is for TNT Sports’ ghost cam in the Best Use of Data in a Sports Broadcast category. The feature overlays fast laps from two MotoGP riders, allowing viewers to see where each gains or loses time around a circuit.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony at the London Hilton on 5 November.
