STONER VOWS TO PUSH FOR PHILLIP ISLAND’S MOTOGP RETURN

Casey Stoner says he will fight to bring Phillip Island back to MotoGP’s calendar after plans emerged to move the Australian Grand Prix to Adelaide from 2027. The retired champion regards Phillip Island as the race’s spiritual home. Apart from COVID-19 disruptions and six races at Eastern Creek in the 1990s, the Victorian circuit has hosted the event every year.
