TRACKHOUSE BRINGS GULF GT40-INSPIRED APRILIA LIVERY TO INDONESIA AND MALAYSIA

7 Oct 2026·

Trackhouse Aprilia has revealed a special Gulf-inspired design for the Indonesian MotoGP at Mandalika, with Ai Ogura and Raul Fernandez set to race the bikes in Indonesia and again at Sepang in Malaysia. The livery celebrates Gulf’s 125th anniversary and takes its main cues from the blue-and-orange Ford GT40s that won the Le Mans 24 Hours in 1968 and 1969. Classic-style racing numbers complete the tribute to one of motorsport’s best-known designs.

It is Trackhouse’s first return to Gulf colours since Mugello. Team owner Justin Marks said the latest version still gives him “a surge of excitement” whenever he sees it on the Aprilia RS-GP 26. He recalled growing up with stories of the Le Mans battles of the 1960s and 70s, when the GT40s and Porsche 917s helped make Gulf’s colours iconic.

Gulf Oil International UK Limited CEO Mike Jones said the partnership with the SuperFile Trackhouse MotoGP Team was bringing the anniversary to life. He added that the company’s racing heritage felt like the right inspiration for a milestone-year design, while stressing the importance of looking ahead as well as celebrating the past. “This truly special bike design brings these two perspectives together,” Jones said, adding that he was eager to see it on track in Indonesia and Malaysia.

The special colours arrive as both Trackhouse riders look to build on their championship campaigns. Ogura is fifth in the standings and Fernandez seventh. Aprilia performed strongly at Mandalika last season, where Fernandez secured his first Sprint podium, giving the team reason to approach the weekend with confidence.
