ALDEGUER HAS LEG SCREW REMOVED IN BID TO SPEED UP RECOVERY

Gresini rider Fermin Aldeguer has had surgery to remove one of the screws in his left leg, in an effort to accelerate his recovery ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix. He fractured his femur in early January while preparing on a production bike at Valencia’s Aspar Circuit. The serious injury ruled him out of MotoGP pre-season.
