AUSTRIA GP SET FOR “SUPER THURSDAY” WITH PUBLIC PIT LANE WALK AND MOPEDGP RACE

The Austrian Grand Prix at Spielberg runs from 18–20 September, with two fan-focused highlights scheduled for Thursday before the MotoGP riders take to the Red Bull Ring for championship points. On 17 September, the weekend begins with the Public Pit Lane Walk, a traditional opportunity for ticket holders to stroll through the pit lane and watch the MotoGP teams up close. Access is limited, so entry is handled on a “first come, first served” basis.

Later that day, the Red Bull Ring also hosts the “MopedGP of Austria,” a 50cc race that is set to take place for the third time in 2026. The event is positioned less as a pure speed contest and more as a celebration of Austria’s moped-riding tradition. Competitors ride their own machines onto the Grand Prix circuit and race alongside some MotoGP stars, who join in with 50cc as well for the occasion. Participation is open to riders with an appropriately approved vehicle and a ticket for the “Motorrad Grand Prix von Österreich 2026.”
