BASTIANINI CALLS MOTEGI SPRINT PENALTY UNFAIR AS MARTIN LAMENTS HIS RACE

Enea Bastianini called his last-lap track-limits penalty in the Japanese GP sprint “unfair”, arguing he gained no time. The Tech3 rider was third ahead of Diogo Moreira when Jorge Martin, struggling with heavy tyre degradation, dropped back into contention. The pair battled on the final lap, while Martin said he was “angry with himself”.
