HONDA HRC NAMES YASUDA AS WATANABE’S SUCCESSOR

Honda’s racing organisation HRC is set for a leadership change, with long-time chief Koji Watanabe due to retire on 1 January 2027. Keiichi Yasuda has been appointed to succeed him. Watanabe joined Honda in 1987 and took charge of its racing division in 2022. During his tenure, he oversaw the merger of the company’s four-wheel and two-wheel racing divisions. The reports did not include comments from Watanabe or Yasuda.
