JACK MILLER SAYS TIMING AND THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT HELD HIM BACK IN MOTOGP

Jack Miller is looking ahead to his final 10 MotoGP races, with his premier-class career now effectively “done” as Pramac prepares to announce Izan Guevara as Toprak Razgatlioglu’s 2027 teammate. Miller’s contract will not be renewed, and he is weighing options beyond MotoGP, with a move to Yamaha’s World Superbikes squad described as the most likely path.

Reflecting on why he believes he never fully delivered on his potential, Miller told Crash.net that the issue was largely timing and the right package rather than his own mindset. “I’m happy with where I’m at in life, where I’m at with my racing, where I’m at mentally, I feel good on the bike,” he said. However, he added that he still feels there is more he could have achieved: “I still feel like I haven’t achieved what I’m capable of, but unfortunately it’s more the timing, it’s getting the right equipment at the right time and being able to use it.”

Miller’s MotoGP record includes more than 200 starts, four wins and 29 podiums. He also noted that, despite his talent, he has never finished higher than fourth in a top-level season. His career included a runner-up finish in the 2014 Moto2 standings, then stints with Ducati’s factory team in 2021 and 2022, where Francesco Bagnaia was the rider challenging for the title. After losing his seat to Enea Bastianini, Miller joined KTM’s factory effort, but managed just one podium.

With his final chapter approaching, Miller will end his MotoGP run on the grid’s “slowest bike,” having switched to Yamaha during the brand’s transition period.
