MANDALIKA MOTOGP: OCTOBER DATES, SESSION TIMES AND UK VIEWING OPTIONS
5 Oct 2026·

MotoGP heads to Mandalika from 9–11 October for round 17 of the 2026 world championship, with the title contest tightening after Japan. Marc Marquez won both the Motegi Sprint and Grand Prix, reducing Jorge Martin’s championship advantage to two points. Marco Bezzecchi was third in Japan, but he and Pedro Acosta risk falling further behind the leading pair.
Mandalika brings a different challenge. Bezzecchi took pole and won last year’s Indonesian Sprint, but later collided with Marquez in the Grand Prix. Marquez suffered shoulder injuries and missed the rest of that season. Fermin Aldeguer, then a Gresini rookie, won the race, while Ducati’s other riders struggled with the event’s special heat-resistant rear tyre; Marquez finished sixth in the Sprint after serving a long-lap penalty. Aprilia will be looking to respond this time around.
Friday, 9 October, features two sessions: FP1 at 10:45am local time (3:45am UK) and Practice at 3pm (8am UK). Saturday’s schedule begins with FP2 at 10:10am (3:10am UK), followed by qualifying at 10:50am (3:50am UK). The Sprint starts at 3pm local time (8am UK). On Sunday, warm-up is at 10:40am (3:40am UK), with the Grand Prix at 3pm (8am UK).
All sessions will be streamed live on MotoGP Video Pass. A full-season subscription costs €148.99 with Timing Pass or €139.99 without live data; a monthly pass is €29.99.
