MARC MARQUEZ ADVISED ISACK HADJAR AFTER WRIST INJURY
21 Aug·

Isack Hadjar will miss the Dutch Grand Prix after injuring his wrist during a gym session last week. Racing Bulls CEO Peter Bayer said the team was first informed on Friday that a potential driver change could be needed, with the situation evolving further on Tuesday. At that point, Yuki Tsunoda was called up to replace Hadjar. Autosport and Motorsport.com also reported that MotoGP champion Marc Marquez had offered advice to Hadjar regarding his wrist injury. Hadjar’s absence follows the injury setback, while Tsunoda’s late call-up came after he was reportedly on a beach in Greece when he was asked to step in. The reports frame the weekend change as a direct consequence of Hadjar’s fitness issue and the subsequent escalation in the replacement decision.
