MARC MARQUEZ PUTS RETIREMENT CHANCES AT 70% WHEN DUCATI DEAL ENDS

Marc Marquez believes there is a 70% chance he will retire when his next Ducati contract ends, according to an extensive interview with Motorsport.com at Phillip Island. The MotoGP world champion said he would leave “a free man”, whether or not he has added more titles by then. His outlook marks a shift from last year: before the Qatar season opener, when asked where he expected to be in three years, he answered, “Exactly where I am now: racing.” Marquez has not ruled out continuing, but now sees retirement at the end of his upcoming deal as a likely possibility.
