MARC MARQUEZ SAYS HE COULDN’T FIGHT AFTER SEVERE DUCATI REAR-TYRE WEAR AT SILVERSTONE

9 Aug·

Marc Marquez said his British Grand Prix struggles were “entirely down to me,” insisting he lacked the pace to fight for the front. The factory Ducati rider finished seventh on Sunday after running as high as third on the opening lap, with the Desmosedici unable to match the Aprilias throughout the weekend. While he previously focused on rear-tyre wear and survival in the Sprint, he also refused to panic, adding that he “didn’t fight” because it “was not possible to fight with the others.”
