MARC MARQUEZ TRAINS IN BALI AHEAD OF MOTOGP’S FINAL RACES

Marc Marquez is using the MotoGP calendar break to prepare for the final stretch of the season while staying in Indonesia. After the Grand Prix there, some riders returned to Europe to train or rest. KTM’s Pedro Acosta, for example, is riding motocross in Spain ahead of the year’s last five races. Others have remained in Asia to avoid a long journey home and take a holiday.

Championship leader Jorge Martin is staying on Lombok with his girlfriend, Maria, near the venue of the Indonesian race. His closest title rival, Marquez, has moved to Bali, where he is spending time with his girlfriend, Gemma. The nine-time world champion is keeping active during the break with gym sessions and rides on a road bicycle.

Riders are due to travel to Australia this week for the next round at Phillip Island, scheduled for October 23–25. It is expected to be the circuit’s final MotoGP appearance for now: from 2027, the Australian Grand Prix is set to move to Adelaide.
