Maverick Viñales will test his injured left shoulder at the Red Bull Ring on Monday during the post-Austrian GP Pirelli test, aiming to judge whether he can return at next month’s Japanese Grand Prix. The Tech3 rider has increased his physical preparation in recent weeks and, on Friday at Circuit d’Alcarras near Lleida, rode a road-going sports bike as he worked to build strength.
