PRAMAC YAMAHA TEAM MANAGER GINO BORSOI WARNS FANS ABOUT FAKE VIP TICKET SCAMS

MotoGP fans are being warned about a ticket scam targeting people who want access to the paddock and VIP-style hospitality. According to Speedweek, the lure is familiar: the chance to get close to the stars, including the appeal of paddock access, while official entry to the inner areas is typically limited to invitations from a team or a relevant MotoGP partner, or via VIP tickets that can cost four figures per person depending on the venue.

The report says scammers are exploiting that demand by sending offers for paddock passes that do not exist. Speedweek links the scheme to Pramac-Yamaha team manager Gino Borsoi, noting that the fraud uses illegally obtained contact details and then approaches fans in Borsoi’s name with paid “access” and entry ticket promises.

Borsoi himself took to social media to warn the community. The ex-GP rider stated: “Attention – important note. I was informed that some people contact others using my name and offer access and entry tickets for MotoGP races for money. That is not me. This is a fraud attempt. Please do not trust anyone who contacts you with such requests in my name. Thank you, Gino Borsoi.”

Speedweek also underlines the broader pattern behind such digital cons: attempts to bypass common sense with tempting, supposedly special, and one-off offers. The outlet stresses that access to the “heart” of MotoGP remains available only through official ticket channels or through a guest pass with a personal connection to the host.

The warning comes as Borsoi is described as a long-time figure in team management, with his biggest personal success cited as the 2024 campaign that helped Jorge Martin win the title with Pramac-Ducati.
