TECH3 CONFIRMS POL ESPARGARO WILL REPLACE MAVERICK VINALES AT THE BRITISH GP AFTER NEW SHOULDER TEAR

Tech3 has confirmed Pol Espargaro will replace Maverick Vinales at Silverstone after a new shoulder injury update. Vinales will miss the British GP while recovering from a shoulder issue that began after last year’s German Grand Prix; further checks during the summer break and at the Red Bull Athlete Performance Centre revealed a small infraspinatus tear not previously identified. Espargaro said he has “mixed feelings” and that it’s “never nice” to ride when another rider can’t, “especially when it’s Maverick,” but added that racing is “in my blood.”
