ALEX MARQUEZ SAYS MARC WAS NEVER THREATENED IN SAN MARINO GP LEAD FIGHT

Alex Marquez said Marc Marquez was never in danger of losing the lead in the San Marino GP, claiming the factory Ducati rider was “playing with us.” With the race at Misano ending with the top three separated by just one second, Alex and Pedro Acosta closed rapidly on the leader. Alex’s view was that Marc’s pace and control meant his rivals were being managed rather than genuinely threatening the front.
