The next stop on the 2026 MotoGP calendar comes just a week after the San Marino Grand Prix, with the Austrian Grand Prix scheduled for the weekend of 18–20 September at the Red Bull Ring.
San Marino marked MotoGP’s second visit to Italy this year and delivered a major shake-up at the top of the standings. Marc Marquez took the championship lead for the first time after a standout weekend in which he won both the sprint and the main race. The report notes that his back-to-back 37-point haul moved him ahead in the title fight.
Marquez is level on points with Aprilia rider Jorge Martin, who finished fifth after leading briefly during the Misano race. The weekend also underlined how quickly momentum can swing: Marco Bezzecchi, who started from pole, crashed on the opening lap of the grand prix and is now 33 points behind the championship lead.

Sunday: Warm-up runs from 8:40am to 8:50am, with the Race scheduled for 1:00pm.
