BEZZECCHI TRAINS ON KART TRACK WITH ROSSI

Marco Bezzecchi prepared for MotoGP’s demanding October schedule with a change of pace, joining Valentino Rossi and fellow VR46 Academy rider Franco Morbidelli for go-karting at Viserba, near Rimini. The outing came ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix, which opens an Asia-Pacific run featuring four races in five weeks. Other riders chose different training: Pedro Acosta rode a flat-track bike in Barcelona, while Jorge Martin put in miles on his road bicycle.

Bezzecchi arrives at the final seven rounds in strong form. Across the past eight events, including sprints and Grands Prix, he has collected seven podium finishes. He was third in both races at Spielberg, but his home weekend at Misano ended in a painful retirement.

The Aprilia rider sits third in the championship with 264 points. He trails team-mate Martin by 42 points and second-placed Marc Marquez by 30. The report included no direct comments from Bezzecchi or the other riders about the training session.
