DI GIANNANTONIO DISMISSES APRILIA-OR-DUCATI TRACK THEORY, SAYS MARQUEZ IS “SILENCING EVERYONE”

VR46’s Fabio Di Giannantonio dismissed the idea that the 2026 MotoGP Ducati-vs-Aprilia swing is mainly down to “Aprilia or Ducati tracks.” He argued that riders’ influence matters more than circuit character. Di Giannantonio pointed to how the championship has shifted back and forth between the two Italian brands, noting that the Aprilia RS-GP tends to look stronger in fast, flowing sections, while the Ducati GP26 has shown an edge in stop-and-go conditions. In his view, Marc Marquez’s presence is also affecting the narrative, saying Marquez is “silencing everyone.”
