DUCATI TEST-RIDER ROLE EMERGES AS AN OPTION FOR VINALES IN 2027

Maverick Viñales is reportedly being considered for a Ducati MotoGP test-rider position in 2027, but the 10-time grand prix winner says his priority is still to compete on the grid. He will not be on the 2027 grid after a lengthy contract dispute with KTM, which left him feeling poorly treated. Viñales says he is “thinking every night” about his future and “haven’t given up yet”; becoming a test rider does not particularly appeal to him.
