Jack Miller admitted he was “quite embarrassed” after his pace dropped to “Bagger times” in Sunday’s Austrian MotoGP, with the Pramac Yamaha rider saying the problem was worsened by extreme rear-tyre degradation on Michelin rubber. He described how, after running in contention early, his speed faded as the tyre went to “base rubber,” forcing him to ride cautiously and leaving him unable to open the throttle confidently. Despite finishing 21st, he said he never considered “parking it,” insisting “the race isn’t over until it’s over.”
