JORGE MARTIN RULES OUT ARM-PUMP SURGERY FOR NOW AFTER AUSTRIAN GP

Jorge Martin said he is “scared” about the possibility of needing surgery after arm pump at last weekend’s San Marino GP, where his pace collapsed and he finished fifth. After Austria, he confirmed he will not undergo any surgery “tomorrow,” adding: “I’m happy… I’m feeling much better than I felt at Misano.” He said he may have been “more tense” at Misano, and that he will “try to continue like this,” aiming to rest and recover after two hard races.
