JORGE MARTIN SAYS HE’S NEVER FELT LIKE THE FAVOURITE IN THE MOTOGP TITLE FIGHT

11 Sept·

Jorge Martin insists he has never felt like the “favourite” in the MotoGP title fight, even with a 19-point advantage heading to Misano. He says he’s “not at my top level” and that he loses “three, four tenths” in practice, leaving him “a bit behind” the pace needed for consistent victories. Martin also points to the need to “continue improving” after Aragon, where he wasn’t “super strong.” Motorsport.com adds that he took over the lead after the Dutch Grand Prix in June, and that he has held it for more than two months.
