Marc Marquez’s doctor, Samuel Antuna, said the severity of the reigning MotoGP champion’s latest injury would force him to retire from professional tennis if he were Carlos Alcaraz. Marquez underwent surgery on his right shoulder on 10 May, then returned in Italy in less than three weeks. He followed with four wins in the next six rounds.
