VALENCIA CONFIRMED FOR 2027 MOTO GP SEASON FINALE ON NOVEMBER 26-28

MotoGP has confirmed that the 2027 season finale will be held at Valencia’s Circuit Ricardo Tormo, scheduled for 26–28 November. The date was published by MotoGP’s Sports Entertainment Group (formerly Dorna) on 22 September.

Valencia has long been the traditional venue for the championship’s last weekend. The most recent exception came in 2024, when devastating floods in the Valencia region forced the final event to be moved to Barcelona. Since the championship’s early days, Ricardo Tormo has hosted countless title-deciding races.

MotoGP deputy CEO Carlos Ezpeleta highlighted what makes the venue special, saying there are “only a few places that capture the spirit of a MotoGP season finale as well as the Circuit Ricardo Tormo,” adding that the track, the city and the fans create a “very special atmosphere” each year. He said the organization is “very pleased” to confirm Valencia as the host of the 2027 finale.

Valencia regional president Juanfran Perez Llorca also welcomed the decision, calling it “excellent news” for the circuit and the wider region. He described staging the final race of the MotoGP world championship as recognition for the organizers and for local fans, who he said ensure the Grand Prix continues to grow year after year.

Looking ahead, MotoGP’s 2027 season begins 5–7 March in Buriram, Thailand. The full 2027 calendar will be officially released on 25 September at 12:00 (CEST). The Austrian Grand Prix in Spielberg is set for 27–29 August.
