BEZZECCHI AND MARTIN STAR IN STERILGARDA’S ALP ADVERTISEMENT

MotoGP’s next stop is the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, with racing scheduled to resume on 11 September at the Italian Adriatic venue. The event will be a home round for VR46 Academy rider Marco Bezzecchi, who also represents Aprilia.

Beyond the track, Bezzecchi and Aprilia teammate Jorge Martin have taken part in a light-hearted advertising campaign for Sterilgarda, an Italian dairy products company and long-time sponsor. In the commercial, Martin appears in full racing gear walking through a calm mountain pasture (“the Alps”), where Bezzecchi directs him by phone to a mysterious motorcycle appointment. The twist is that the meeting isn’t about bikes at all: Martin is asked to demonstrate his “manual skills” by proving his milking technique.

On the mountain, MotoGP legend and Aprilia ambassador Max Biaggi welcomes Martin while wearing a white dairy outfit. Biaggi tells him, “The helmet won’t help you today,” to which Martin replies, “I trust you.” Martin then grins as he practices milking, before sharing fresh yogurt and milk with Biaggi.

The spot’s message is built around Sterilgarda’s slogan, “Your energy for every milestone.” The company has had a long relationship with Biaggi, dating back nearly two decades, including support during his Superbike World Championship period and later helping bring the brand to Aprilia.

Back in the championship picture, Martin’s lead over Marc Marquez (Ducati) has been reduced to 19 points after Aragon. Bezzecchi sits just 24 points behind Martin in third place.
