MISANO SAN MARINO GP SCHEDULE CONFIRMED WITH MOTO3, MOTO2 AND MOTOGP SESSIONS

The San Marino Grand Prix at Misano Adriatico is set to deliver another full weekend of MotoGP action, with racing also scheduled for Moto2, Moto3 and the Red Bull Rookies Cup. The circuit, built in 1972 and located just five kilometres from the Italian coast, has been on the MotoGP calendar since 2007. Misano measures 4.226 km and features a longest straight of just 530 metres, with 10 right-hand and six left-hand corners shaping a track that continues to demand precision across all classes.

Looking at recent form, the 2025 MotoGP Sprint was won by Aprilia’s Marco Bezzecchi, who held off Alex Marquez (Gresini Ducati) and Fabio Di Giannantonio (VR46 Ducati). In the Grand Prix race itself, Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo) took victory ahead of Bezzecchi and AM73.

For 2026, Jorge Martin arrives at the Adriatic as the championship leader. According to the reported standings, Martin holds a 19-point advantage over Marc Marquez (MM93) and is 24 points clear of Marco Bezzecchi (“Bez”).

The weekend’s schedule begins on Friday, 11 September, with Moto3 and Moto2 first practice sessions in the morning, followed by MotoGP FP1. Practice continues with additional sessions later in the day, including Moto3 practice, Moto2 practice and a MotoGP practice block running from 15:00 to 16:00.

Saturday, 12 September, features FP2 sessions for Moto3, Moto2 and MotoGP, then the qualifying build-up. MotoGP qualifying is split into Qualifying 1 (10:50–11:05) and Qualifying 2 (11:15–11:30). After Moto3 and Moto2 qualifying sessions, the MotoGP Sprint takes centre stage at 15:00 over 13 laps. The Red Bull Rookies Cup then starts its first race at 16:10.

On Sunday, 13 September, the Rookies Cup returns with Race 2 at 08:45. MotoGP riders complete a warm-up at 09:40–09:50 before the class races begin: Moto3 at 11:00 (20 laps), Moto2 at 12:15 (22 laps) and the main MotoGP race at 14:00 over 27 laps.
